A TDWG vocabulary is composed of term lists that have been minted by TDWG as part of that vocabulary, or that may be composed of terms borrowed from other vocabularies within or outisde of TDWG. The vocabulary changes over time as those lists change, or as new term lists are added to the vocabulary.
This vocabulary version is a "snapshot" of the vocabulary at a particular moment in time. The term list versions listed below includes those that were part of the vocabulary at the time this version was issued. The status of an individual term list may have changed since the time that the vocabulary version was issued. The version status indicates the status of the list at the present time, not at the time the vocabulary was issued.
For more information about the structure and version model of TDWG vocabularies, see the TDWG Standards Documentation Specification.
